Previously, Smith was Executive Vice President at Wyndham International, with responsibility for transforming the corporate culture and leading a network of regional HR offices – encompassing 24,000 employees – across North America and the Caribbean. She started her career as a nurse, and holds a Master’s Degree in Career and HRD, and two Bachelor Degrees in Communications and Metaphysics.
Smith was introduced to the Histiocytosis Association in 2008 as a strategic planning consultant, and has since transitioned into her current role as the Vice Chair and Secretary of the Board of Trustees, as well as the Chairperson of the Governance Committee. She says her passion is helping people, organizations, and businesses to discover and unleash their possibility, and she is thrilled and honored to be an Association Board Member.
