It's that time of year once again to get your photos to the Association.  Photos will no longer be accepted after Friday September 19th.  Some of you have already submitted photos for the 2008 Campaign.  If you would like to update your photo, now is the time.

The DFC is a fundraising tool of the Histiocytosis Association for just over 10 years now.  We collect photos of patients from our members and place them in a brochure.  This brochure not only shows all our beautiful histio children, parents, nieces, nephews and other loved ones, but also gives a brief description of the disease and why we so desperately need help to fund the research that will one day find a cure.  The brochure will include a donation form and be accompanied by a self addressed return envelope.

Every member, whether you submit a photo or not, is encouraged to send the brochures to all your family and friends. Get those address books out and let's get ready to have the most successful Dear Friends Campaign to date.

This year you can also get involved in the Dear Friends Campaign online!  Send out messages and ask for support by email!
