The DFC is a fundraising tool of the Histiocytosis Association. is now in our 16th year.  We collect photos of patients from our members and place them in a brochure.  This brochure not only shows all the faces of our children, parents, nieces, nephews and other loved ones, but also gives a brief description of the disease and why we so desperately need help to fund research that will one day find a cure.  The DFC brochures include a donation form and a self-addressed return envelope.

Every member, whether you submit a photo or not, is encouraged to send the brochures to all their family and friends. Get those address books out and let's get ready to have the most successful Dear Friends Campaign to date.

Some helpful hints:

• You/Your child can circle their photo in the brochure.
• Complete the honor/memory section of the donation form.
• Write a personal story to distribute with each brochure.
• Send a brochure and return envelope to everyone in your address book.

You can also get involved in the Dear Friends Campaign online!  Send a link of your personal DFC webpage to your friends and family and ask for their support by email!
