The DFC is a fundraising tool of the Histiocytosis Association. We are now in our 15th year.  We collect photos of patients from our members and place them in a brochure.  This brochure not only shows all our beautiful histio children, parents, nieces, nephews and other loved ones, but also gives a brief description of the disease and why we so desperately need help to fund research that will one day find a cure.  The DFC brochures include a donation form and a self address return envelope.

Every member, whether you submit a photo or not, is encouraged to send the brochures to all your family and friends. Get those address books out and let's get ready to have the most successful Dear Friends Campaign to date.

Some helpful hints:

• You/Your child can circle their photo in the brochure.
• Complete the honor/memory section of the donation form.
• Write a personal story to distribute with each brochure.
• Send a brochure and return envelope to everyone in your address book.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the 2009 Dear Freinds Campaign whether you submitted a photo or ordered extra brochures to distribute to your family and friends. Completed DFC donation forms are being received by the HAA daily.
