Histiocytosis is a rare blood disease which occurs when excess of white blood cells called histiocytes cluster together in the form of lesions and attack various parts of the body.  Because this illness is so rare, it is often referred to as an "orphan disease", meaning that it strikes too few people to generate government supported research.

You can purchase tickets to the screening and/or the reception and learn more about the event by contacting Michael Golding (216) 235-3005 or mgolding@sydneyfund.org.
