Student Scholarship Program

Scholarship

The Histiocytosis Association is honored to provide an inaugural scholarship program for those impacted by histiocytic disorders in the United States. The initial launch of the program included (1) $500 scholarship available to an eligible student in NJ, DE. PA or NY thanks to special funding recieved for student leadership in those geographical areas. The Histio Community welcomed this new program with great enthusiasm, excited for when it could expand to include the entire United States.

We are thrilled to announce that in response to the Histio Community, the Histiocytosis Association Board of Trustees and Staff have come together to personally fund TWO (2) ADDITIONAL $500 SCHOLARSHIPS, which are open to eligible students throughout the entire United States!

This means that TWO (2) $500 scholarships will be awarded to eligible students residing in any state in the United States and ONE (1) $500 scholarship will be awarded to an eligible student specifically residing in the NJ, DE, PA or NY area. These scholarshis are one-time, non-renewable (once per student lifetime) awards. Funds will be distributed directly to the student. Students may apply for both the NJ, DE, PA, NY scholarship AND a United States scholarship, however, 2 separate applications must be submitted and students can only win one award.

We hope to continue to expand upon this program in the future. If you are interested in contributing to ensure this program can continue for many years to come, please contact Heather at scholarships@histio.org or donate here (All funds donated will go towards ensuring the availability of future scholarships).
